For the past month, I've abandoned all of my hobbies in favor of writing and thinkering with this website. And I like it, but I really do want to go back to other stuff, too.
I've been meaning to get some cheap blank t-shirts and do some stamping on them. I have black ink, a roller and a few rubber blocks.
I also got a set of punch needles to learn to do embroidery. I need to get yarn and... canvas? how's the fabric called? That thing.
On the software front, I've been thinkering more with 11ty and trying to stretch what I can do with it. I recently did a very rudimentary feed reader just for the luls, working with what I learned by coding ferulita.com, the website for my podcast.
I'm also working on a set of general use, unopinionated CSS stylesheets. One is a layout helper, like Bootstrap, but only the spacing and grid. The other is a drop-in stylesheet for pretty and functional base styles.
I may or may not create a separate website just for the creative projects. I like the idea, but keeping it all here sounds good, too.
I'm still hesitating on the personal podcast, and my 9-year-old is insisting in me having a YouTube channel.
